Hey guys, I'm pretty new to working on bikes but im learning and NOT going to pay anyone to work on it unless I really have to..... but I've got a oil seep by the the exhaust manifold??,

It's not alot but enough for me to want to fix it.

I know it's vague but was wondering your thought on possible causes??

I've got virtually no history on the bike so unsure what's been messed with (it's Fixers old bike)

Any wY I took a pic so if I can work out how to post I will.

Join the club, Tommy. biggrinbiggrin

Take a look by clicking CLICKY LINKY and see how we manage to cure the mess.

It seems to be a common TTR problem but easily cured.

I have one of those plugs in my bike. I wish I'd known about them a long time ago, because at my work our TTRs suffer endlessly from bad leaks when the rubber caps are whacked by sticks or stones. This should stop that.

Thank you to the genius who thought up this fix! Brilliant.biggrin
