left hand foot peg mount snapped

My son borrowed the ttr jumped a log and the foot peg mount broke away from the frame . It looks like it's been cracked for quite a while  a bit of a clean up a bit of a hammer and weld it should be ok

fixed turned out it had cracked almost all the way round a good clean and a bit of my shakey weling alls good just needs painting

The metal looks good so your repair should be a good 'un!

This is one of the areas I suggest checking before powder coating a frame.

did you also weld the crack in the side stand mount ?...

thanks for keeping an eye on things yep it got a burn as well . Looks like it might have been a Friday arvo job on the assembly line

didn't like the finish of my welds so , ground them back and did them again all's good just needs a coat of paint , must say I can feel the difference now its solid again and I wont be parting company with my side stand for a while yet biggrinbiggrin

Went and checked mine after seeing this thread but mine is ok...
