Worn footpeg hole
Permalink

So I got a new spring for my foot peg but it was still loose. I noticed the pin that goes through the footpeg was flapping about inside the holes on the lug which the peg attaches to. So I looked at it and thought what could I do to fix it? So this is what I did...

Found a perfect size bolt that fitted in the hole. This bolt had a nice shoulder on it and was a lot tighter in the hole than the standard pin.IMG_2688.JPG

Perfect fit but a little long...

So I cut it down!.

Drilled a hold in the bottom to take a split pin.
