So what gear ratio are yous running for the road but still ok for easyer

trails...

the bike has 14/44 "3.1:1" standard..

I useing 14/47 "3.3:1" but is a bit dead into a head wind

or long up hill pull.... it is only a 250 may want to much after

the 660...

might try 13/47 "3.6:1" but I want to beable to cruse at 100kmph

with out the motor reving near it's red line..

So what are yous useing to cruse at 100kmph "60mph"

i have only ever used the TTR for offroad with quite low gearing..

I hopeing to find a rear sprocket so that I can just change the front sprocket
for road or dirt... so it's easy/quick to change from dirt to road...

dirt ...12/47 "3.9:1" is the ratio I use for dirt at the moment..

road... 13/47 "3.6:1"
14/47 "3.3:1"
15/47 "3.1:1"..same as the standard 14/44 "3.1:1"

I run 14/41 because I do lots of cruising at 100kmh and can still go off road and have a bit of fun.

Wow 14/41

I have sold a 14/42 combo for some serious overlanding, always good to hear other peoples gearing feedbacksmile

11 less teeth than I have on my back sprocket!!!
