I gotta say, my ex-brother in law who grew up in Manchester dumped a bunch of recent TBM magazines on me the other day during a ride, and I really like the magazine.

I subscribe to Dirt Rider over here, and TBM is more interesting. Better stories, less testing more riding. I'm torn as to whether UK riding (TBM) or California riding (Dirt Rider) is more like BC riding, but that's ok.

What do you guys over there think of the magazine? I'm sure I'm missing out on a few more, but it's been a very pleasant revelation.

We are just getting registration for dirt bikes, which will involve paying a one time tax, or when selling, and a decal. Our motorcycles never get inspected, I think you guys call it MOT inspection?
We occasionally lose riding areas-which are dedicated singletrack areas. My TTR is street legal, which is rare for Canadian TTR 250's, so I can go a hell of a lot of places. I would think that there isn't much to complain about in terms of access, lots of singletrack specific areas, and an amazing amount of logging roads etc. The riding here is rocky and rooty, with a lot of climbs. I would think we have more riding areas than in the UK, but maybe not when you consider all the mountains around that would limit where we could ride or don't get developed with a trail network. Through this forum and TBM and some youtube I'm understanding "green laning" riding.

Sounds good, I like rocky and rooty! Yeah its fairly restricted here these days. But we make the most of the legal tracks!! Yes an m.o.t inspection, (ministry of transport).
