A wash and a jowler.

Had fun today out on the lanes on the trusty TTR, this weekend I have noticed that the sun has really kicked in and our usual lanes have much foliage growth on either side and hanging from above now!

I had a moment with a rut on the Cosmore drove, I was thrown out the higher central part of the lane by some large stones I think, into the deep 4x4 rut on the side thus causing a small leaning jowler! Unfortunately wasn't captured!

Our favourite watery rubbley jungle like lane at Stowell was done also today, its even more like a jungle now the sun has been on it!

Today was the day we decided to hit on through the Chetnole bike wash as it is less deep now, I'd say about 18-20" ish in its deepest bits, much fun was had over the stoney bottom of this great ford. The route actually runs a fair way down river before theres a ramp exit out.

Here are some pics and vids :

Yep thanks for sharing same down hear with the lane side's growing out to meet each other soon to be caught up by the neck slashing brambles. that ford looks like a nice ride when the waters low and real nasty when you have had a bit of rain. It's that time when you are on the bike sat there looking at it an saying too yourself do I stay or do I go now it's always best to have a mate and send him in first.............................

It does get pretty deep and nasty and bit faster flowing in the winter and after hard rain yeah. Believe it or not the best line through it is straight through the middle. It is looking very green Brian! There's cowslip appeared absolutely everywhere too. The brambles are there all year round to try and rip your face off! Unless you have a visor of coursesmile

Jungle lane looks great, reminds me of a single track down in the Cotswolds.

Jungle lane or (watery lane at stowell) is a good one, loads of fun obstacles in it like step ups and tree trunks, fallen branches, overgrowth and large stones
