MoT time in the UK

It was that dreaded time of the year again. bleh
My TTR needs taxing again at the end of May.
Its MoT expires on 13th May so I had to do something.
I booked the bike in for a test and spent most of the day before yesterday fettling it and making it presentable - I had to remove the A2E mud and sludge if nothing else.
The dreaded moment arrived yesterday morning at 11am.
I needn't have worried - it sailed through and unusually didn't even get any advisory notices.
In celebration I made a detour on the way home and took in a few "green lanes" - just what the bike was designed for.
On one of the lanes I saw movement and was surprised that I had an onlooker.

This is what my helmet camera captured.

A dear, inquisitive, deer watched so I rode quietly past, very slowly and gently.
Now you don't see many of them in a week do you?
Martyn

Well done on several counts Martyn - the MOT, doing some lanes on the way home and getting the photo of the deer biggrinbiggrin

Is it a roe deer?

Honestly, Brian, I've no eye dear. biggrin

Sorry - I couldn't resist.

Needs must, I suppose. It needed an MoT and the sunny weather with spring in the air made it all worthwhile and possible.

Long may it last, but the forecast isn't too promising. no

Well captured Martyn! No you really don't see many in the day do you, except perhaps lying on the side of the road...
