ive decided to thro the towel in and put it up for sale as spares or repares

i took it out green laning last September when I called in for fuel I came back out turned the key nothing the lights came on but when I turned the key the lights dimmed, I managed to bump the bike ride it home about 55 miles the put it away till about three weeks ago put a second hand starter on but still jammed, I've had the head off all looks ok can't seem to work out the proble, I've bought two xt 600 as I plan something different this year so open to offers,

i think this bike was rebuilt by brain a few years ago, Brian will shed some light on that, it's been well maintained by myself but other than the problem I've menchand there was nothing ease wrong with the bike.

the two photos are when I bought it about one and a halve years a go

ill post some pictures up later, any interest then pm me

I went to the work shop and turned the key it turned over, when I did it again it jammed, it may be the battery or the second hand starter that I put on,

Looks a bit like this one? If it is then sorry, but I don't think I did a restoration thread on it cry

I am guessing it has passed through at least one other owner than you since I had it Kevin?

Sorry to hear that you didn't find the problem but the good news is that it wasn't a dropped valve or cam chain jumped!

Not at all Brian it's just one of those things,

as for loads of miles, this has happened as it's not been used much,

Cheers Kevin.

I am sure possible buyers will be interested to know what sort of target price you have for it?

Brian

Cheap TTR - worth more than that for spares!

Good luck with the sale but I can't help thinking that the fault has got to be something simple and you would get a lot more for the bike if you could diagnose it.
