I have recently acquired a 1994 TT250R to ad to my riding stable. (There is currently 9 bikes in the shed) and I am in love with my new little beastie.
I was looking for a bike which I could ride on and off road as well as it having to be a 4 Stroke and nice and light and easy for me to handle. Although I mainly ride Kawasakis and also have a Triumph to ride on road I turn to Yamaha for my off road bike.
I have been riding all my life and actually work as a Motorcycle Riding Instructor for the Department of Transport here in NSW, Australia.
I was directed to this forum for advice and it looks like its an awesome place for that.
Hello there from Tweed heads NSW. lots of helpfull imfo here. I had to lower my TTR seat as im short , but happy as with the bike. Had it on the beach a couple of times at Noosa , Fraser island. Safe riding.
Thanks guys. I have been reading through a few of the threads and have already picked up a couple of hits and tips which is great. Am waiting on my pillion pegs to come from Brian atm as I have a keen and eager 8 yr old who wants to come out on my dirtbike on the road. He comes out with me on my zx14 and rides his own little jr50 and a crf80. I also have a 16yr old who just got his learners and rides a little 200cc cruiser and a xl 185. As well as a 18yr old who rides a gpz550 on the road and a wr450f off road. So its in my family and it awesome to riding in the bush and on the road with my boys. My older 2 are helping me to restore my mothers 1972 Triumph Bonneville 650 which is a family labour of love.
Thanks for the warm welcome
Looks like you found your way home from the lost City. Nice riding out that way. I'm going to ride out Blackfellows Hands road and Gardens of stone soon. I am always in too much of a hurry when I come through that way - like last week end
