Couple of small problems.

After a afternoon out on local lanes i notice the rear suspension has started to make a creaking noise ! Anyone else had this ? Also towards the end of the day i noticed a noise coming from the front sprocket area on de-acceleration, sounds like the chains hitting the sprocket cover but everything looks as it should.

I reckon the squeak is your top rear strut bolt which is running a tad dry. bleh

WD 40 it and it disappears before returning. They're like that! wink

Your chain rattle may be your 13 tooth sprocket. confuse

When you use a small sprocket the chain has to turn a sharp turn a lot of times. no

It gets a little saggy and starts clashing the tinware.

Adjusting the chain will cure it - until it gets saggy again. aww

The bottom chain guide may also need dropping a tad to give more clearance.

If you are using a 14 tooth sprocket (or larger) then adjusting the chain ought to cure it. blankstare

Yes you could be correct Cubber , it does sound like it's coming from the shock top mount. I'll remove the bolt and grease it up.
I do have a 13 tooth sprocket but the chain tension seems correct . I'll investigate further when I get chance but I think you could be right.
I have dropped the bottom chain guide by about 3mm.

Hi Locky

If you have the standard sprocket cover fitted that might be the culprit ref the chain noise. See here and go down to my post of 8 October wink

Cubber is right about "that squeak" probably coming from the top shock bearing. A liberal spray of WD40 or similar is the easy remedy.

Yes I have the standard sprocket cover fitted and remember reading that post before. I'll remove it and see what happens but it does sound like the chain coming into contact with the cover.
If that's the problem I'll mod it the same as you did.
