Rebound dampener adjuster pin gooone!

The little pin above the knob in the picture above is missing from my bike. I noticed that it did not click when I tried to adjust it and yesterday I pulled the shock out to inspect. The little bugger has disappeared. Are they sold as a separate part or do I have to find a S/H shock to salvage the part from?

Sorry about the large picture I pulled from http://greywolf.ru/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=51&Itemid=242

thanks

Brian is back in a day or two. He'll know.
I like the link. Looks a really useful site. Is it Russian?

Bad luck Max! Not sure how the pin got lost as it should be held firmly in place by the adjusting collar confuse

The pin isn't available from Yamaha separately - only as part of the whole lower bracket assembly - part # 2 in the pic below - silly money for new no

Best to put a "wanted" ad up on the forum as someone might have an old shock lying around that they could rob the pin off.

I wonder if I could make one from a drill bit. There is not really a great amount of pressure on it

I have the bottom end from a shock that will have that part, back of the garage, somewhere safe, you know the place?
You pay the postage.
