Im sorry if this is stupid but I cant seem to find much info on this. I dont want to make a mistake so I was looking for a simple how to showing the removal of the gas tank on my ttr250.

Is there anything on here or can someone give me a quick list of steps. thank you very much.

Im going to run a power line from the battery up the frame to the bars to run a usb port and also charge the battery with a tender.

If u have a blue TTR with plastic tank: remove the seat first by removing the 2 bolts under the rear fender. A 10mm socket will work. Then, shut your fuel valve off. Pull the tank strap off, which you'll see once u remove the seat. Now, there will be a bolt on each side in front of the gas tank. Look near the ignition for the one on the right side. They also take a 10mm socket to remove them. Then just simply lift the tank up and pull it out of the way. Hope this helps.
