Hi Andy

The panels on the Raid that I am breaking have their fixings attached. The panels were loose on the bike when I got it and I can't see the fasteners in the box of parts so assume they are lost. However I found some library pics of a Raid with panels attached which I hope used the standard fixings!

As far as I can see the RH panel uses ordinary 6mm threaded bolts or screws.

This is a view from the inside of the rear fitting. It's a rubber grommet with a threaded brass insert.

This is a pic of the outside of the rear panel fixing.

This is the LH panel which appears to use two Deutz fasteners. One at the rear top with a plain slotted screw head and the lower one with a ring pull type head.

This is the fiche pic I found but I can't access a parts list for a clearer understanding as to what's going on no

Parts 36 and 37 are just rivets and washers that attach part 35 to the panel.

That doesn't answer your question fully but may help.

If someone else has the correct Deutz fasteners maybe they can measure them up for you.

Brian
