2002 TTR For sale in Helston Cornwall

Only 8000 genuine miles (previous MOT certs with mileage)

Starts first time every time hot or cold

Runs sweet as a nut, see and listen to it here http://youtu.be/YOdMRc8yEkg

I've owned this bike for 10 years and haven't had a single problem with it. Best bike I've ever had and a reluctant sale but I don't use it anymore and therefore its time for someone else to enjoy it.

Will put an MOT on it, otherwise ready to go.

Open to sensible offers £ ?

Brand New battery with Optimiser connections

Renthal High rise bars

New O ring chain and sprockets 48 rear 13 front ( spare 13 and 14 sprockets new)

Original factory fitted Yamaha sump guard

Yamaha hand guards

Frame guards

Twin Air filter

comes with rear footpegs and indicators - removed

This bike doesn't need to have any uk power mods done to it as it an unrestricted Japanese spec bike with digital speedo and grease nipples on the swinging arm, suspension linkages unlike the UK models.

Hi Dave

So that means you have an idea of the price you want so are you willing to share that? I get asked regularly about TTRs for sale by mostly newcomers to TTRs who would need an idea as to what the asking price was.

Cheers

Brian

I've looked at what TTR's have been selling for on Eb@y over the last few months. A 21 year old 1993 OE went recently for £1300 , however there is a 1998 on there at the moment for £1350. It depends what needs spending on them.

Then there are the Blue TTR's year 2000 and above. Age / condition / mileage? Recently on another forum a 2002 low mileage TTR was £1675.

I'm not forcing anyone to buy my bike, if someone makes a sensible offer then I'll sell it.

They don't make them anymore.

to save potential buyers wasting time on bikes they cant afford and risking offence to owners who feel there bike is worth more than the present market value a starting price would be helpfull . I dont know many car showrooms where vehicles have no price on them ! People would not enter you gotta start the haggling somewherebiggrin

Yes, I have the original alloy wheels. They are the ones on it now.

The higher spec Japanese home market bikes have the lighter weight digital speedo .

Digital speedo = purple wheels

Heavier Analogue speedo = silver wheels

Hi Dave

Just to clarify, is 2002 the year of manufacture or the date first registered in the UK?

Brian

Hello Brian

In 2004 I asked an importer to bring me this TTR back from Japan and had it registered in my name. The log book shows the year of manufacture as 2002. I have the mileage recorded on the bike when registered here and every MOT since.

Regards

Dave

Hi Dave,

I live in Wadebridge and am interested in your bike can you give an indication of what you want for it and if it's in my price range I'll come and have a look if that's OK.

Thanks Andy
