OK people

YOURCOUNTRY_zpsec83d987.png

..im back on grid and musing over the idea of a trip- with people I dont know...you!

Sniper will be putting in an appearance-he will have a passport by then!

What I'm looking for-

1.People happy to be filmed- it will be again released on Youtube

2.People prepared to have a go at something different.

3.people happy to camp/sleep/cook rough.

What will it be?

1.Approximately 30 days duration starting Mid April 2015

2. There may be the opportunity to do 2 weeks

3.fun- ideal for those who have not done a trip of this nature before.

Where?

1. Morocco

Cost?

TBC- we will be travelling approx 8000 miles by motorbike with 2 boat crossings totalling 10,000miles- let me have an idea of what you feel it may cost

Hope to hear from you-If you have any questions- fire away here!

That sounds really interesting, Rod.

Trouble is that after the recent expenses of this time of year my liquid assets have rather evaporated.

30 days (March onwards) is a long time and with no "time off" and no money it's a big NO for me.

I hope some other TTR rider will be more fortunate.

Good luck - I'll watch this one for sure.

Locky!- I have read your report (upto day 08)- it looks & sounds fantastic...You were taking the photographs right...they really set the scene...especially the well in the middle of nowhere!(ME2). I bet racing & meeting the desert trucks in Erfoud was fantastic!....writing reports (and editing) can be so time consuming; but you have me wanting more...so do the honourable thing!

...well done & thanks

...........I hope I don't fall below your expectations!...and fully understand your "liquid assets" issues.

I don't intend for it to be an enduro "last man standing" event- The filming will slow the process down considerably,,it will be down to the group to decide when to stop etc

It will be posted here ( assuming we return!)- or sign upto the youtube account that has a previous film trip on it.

Regards

Rod

Yes i took most of the photo's but we have many more to post, we also have a lot of video to edit that will be worth watching. The DL650's were the wrong bike for the trip, great on the road but very hard on Piste, such a heavy bike to keep picking up. At the end of the report will be lists of everything that we packed and lists of things we shouldn't have packed, we learnt a lot smile
