Is this the correct tyre size for the front ?   http://www.oponeo.co.uk/moto-tyre-details/michelin-enduro-comp-iv-90-90-21-54-r-front-tt/?origin=prodlisting&gclid=CjwKEAiA74qkBRCdrM-6or7U73QSJABCDL9pY8kT1D4wa_4oUvwL-A7sf8JmPXRoSAnFGPbtpAq1JBoC9EHw_wcB

Im also thinking of a AC10 for the rear, will a 110/100-18 fit ok with 13/48 sprockets ?

My records show:-

  • Front tyre                           3.00/21 51P - 15psi
  • Rear tyre                            4.60/18 63P - 15psi

Pressures are indicative only - I adjust to suit the situation.  aww

I run a Michelin Michelin Comp IV Enduro on the front with a Pirelli MT43 rear wink

90/90 x 21 is more or less equivalent to a 3.00 x 21 and will fit fine. A 110/100 should be fine on the back. The first figure relates to the tread width (110mm in this case) and the second is the aspect ratio or ratio of depth to width, so the depth of the tyre will be 100% of the width in this case. I run a 130/80 Heidenau on the back which fits fine. A 140 width tyre will foul on the chain guard. Be careful with higher aspect ratios as you might find the tyre rubs against the plastic guard protecting the shock - depending on the chain length, but as I say, I think a 110/100 will be ok.
Ride safe,
Simon.

I have AC10s front & rear on my TTR..
80/100/21 - 110/100/18
They are not long lived on the seal...
AC10 rear is a great tyre.... Not so
sure I would put another AC10 front on...
But then my veiw is prob diffrent to most as
my bike has the road gear removed only see's
the dirt..

110/90 4.50/4.75
120/90 4.50/4.75

Does this actually translate to 4.50 being 110 and 4.75 being 120? Because my friends have 120/90's on their modern crf's I just ordered the same in AC10.

OMG I just got the tyres out of the box. That 120 is mahoosive! It's 25my wider than my semi road/enduro Tyre.

Beginning to think I've made a big mistake...
