My TTR got delivered this morning and i'm quite pleased with it considering i didn't view it (ebay sale & came from Aberdeenshire). It's not as good as in the ebay pics but i took this into account as it's normally the case. It has quite a few rusty fasteners and some rust on the frame around various welds. Its starts and runs quite well but i think it could run smoother at idle, maybe a carb strip and clean will do it good. I also have the jets ready to do the air box mod so i'll do this at the same time.  It has a FMF power cone thats just been fiitted and the original end can came with the bike, the FMF powercone is to loud so i'll set about making it quieter over the winter.

Iv'e not yet decided what to do with the rusty bits on the frame. 1. Touch up the rusty bits with a aerosol or 2. a complete strip and get it powdercoated .

What paint in a aerosol matches the original color ?

Thanks hanzo, decided powder coating will be the way. I don't think i'll keep it blue though, silver or satin black i think.
