Didn't get time to measure one up today - was hoping someone else would oblige! It is exactly the same as the banjo bolt on the oil line that goes onto the cylinder head.

Never heard of one stripping or breaking. Has that happened to yours or has it just gone AWOL?

If you need one then I can get one posted tomorrow. Sadly no evening collections from our local letter box now cry

Brian

No it's back in place the shoulders Were not the best Brian I cleaned them up and a good fitting socket was enough but I will replace at some point.I have had them off before I think PO had probably tried removing with header in place in the past.I was actually helicoiling the lower oil filter bolt.Followed your excellent thread Brian a great help and all back together nicely first time I had used helicoil
