Parts suppliers in the USA

No parts available where I live, no any usable mail service. I am going to be in the USA for a couple of weeks in Nov and thought I'd order some parts online and have the mailed to my friends in Virginia. So a question to all the US TTR riders, can you  suggest an online retailer I could order from.  I need clutch friction plates, clutch cable, brake pads front and rear. Oh and a gasket kit for the carb.

any help appreciated.

Brian, hope you don't mind, but I'm assuming postage from UK to US would be prohibitive.

thanks

Ted (in Timor Leste)

No problem Ted! We try to make our prices the best available in the UK but, with a lot of parts, it is best to buy locally as shipping to anywhere outside the European Union from the UK is usually silly expensive unless the package can go by standard airmail cry

Lots of information here.

Brian

I usually start with boats.net:

http://www.boats.net/parts/search/Yamaha/Motorcycle/parts.html

It's been a couple of years since I placed an order, but in the past selection and prices have been good.

Last I looked, boats.net still has the best prices for oem parts.

For lot of common wear items like filters, brake pads and clutch I will use www.bikebandit.com/ or www.rockymountainatvmc.com/

Bikebandit will give you a 10% discount on most items if you are a member of the AMA
www.americanmotorcyclist.com/

Probably not worth the price of joining if you are only visiting. :)
