Tekei Y30p Issue....Jarrah please chime in. Also, exhaust studs broken and frozen in the head...

Ordered a new idle set screw from Yamaha. Lo and Behold, it is on national backorder, mine broke as I was attempting to adjust as this bike has sat in the elements to my suspicion,  for quite some time. I'm going to pull the carb and drill out the original. Does anyone happen to know what pitch and thread size thus screw is for a temporary replacement? It's obviously metric, so if anyone has a clue please fill me in. Also, as I stated above the exhaust header studs are frozen in the head any ideas besides using an ez out and what orientation are they? Reverse threads?

Jarrah hasn't signed in for a while so, just in case, let's see if we can help you as a forum collective wink

First off, is it the screw arrowed in the pic below that is giving you the hassle or do you mean the pilot screw pictured here?

The exhaust studs are normal RH thread. Have they broken off flush with the head? Very unusual if so. If there is still some meat left then a really good set of Vise grips should get them out I would have thought confuse

PS Pics are always good to help explain issues wink

And there is still meat to grab, just very rusted and we're broken when the bike came to me.
