Comparison of Hel and Venhill after-market front brake hoses

I just happen to have a new Hel hose in my pile of stuff "to do something with" so thought it might be interesting to compare it with the Vehill front hose.

The next pic compares the fittings at the reservoir end:

The Venhill hose has a plastic sleeve over the hose which adds stiffness where the hose slides up and down between the clamps on the fork:

Both have protection for the hose where it goes through the fork clamp towards the bottom of the hose:

So you pays your money and you takes your choice wink

Hmmm. I've always replaced the old hoses on my old bikes with Hel.......might give the Venhill a go! Still using the OEM 20 year old front brake hose.
