Hi,my brake light was staying on all the time so i checked the foot brake switch and all was well. However i removed the front brake switch and when i push

the little pin it goes out.I dont see any way of adjusting this, is it just worn and needs replacing? Thanks in advance

Hi Lindsay

This is what your brake switch should look like:

Front brake switch 005.jpg

It should be pushed into the brake lever perch far enough for the tab to spring out into its hole in the perch and locate the switch. That should mean the pin is making good contact with the lever.

Yes that is exactly like mine but the pin does not seem to be making contact thus leaving the brake light on all the time.I will have another look
and try to see why!.Im sure it cant be much of a problem to sort. Thanks Brian,

Lindsay

Could you be missing the return spring on the lever?
