on my us 2006 ttr, i swapped a cracked headlight for one i picked up on ebay.  with a high and a low bulb. 12 watt 18v not very bright, so i switch to a 12w 35 watt, not much differnce.  Last nigth i wired in some h3 bulbs with a a little extra manufacturing. but still not bright.  Does the ttr not produce enough power to throw out some decent lighting? or what am i doing wrong

Hi Brett

Have a look here - which of the headlights do you have?

Have a look at this old thread and have a look towards the bottom. I have used these LED lights for some time now and have been very pleased with them. I have to ride to and from work all year round over a 3.5 mile hill track. In the middle of winter in bad weather you need all the light you can get!

i had the original head light from a 2006 ttr, was bright, then changed to a street fighter fairing, and cyclops lighting. 18w bulbs. very yellow but not bright. With a little duct tape and a wiring harness i hooked up some 9903/h3 bulbs on my bike. After riding off road this weekend. of course the duct tape failed, bulbs moved a little and melted the inside reflecter part. I am ordering a acerbis led h vision light and fairing, will hook up and try. hopefully brighter.

Solved ordered up a acebis hd led vision.  had to buy a h3 wiring harness 11 bucks. but the light hooked up perfect and easy, I am going to ask around on how to install a flasher for the turn signals?

looks sic and is plenty bright.
