I BOUGHT THE BIKE LIKE THIS BECAUSE WILL BE TOURING ON SEALED ROADS AND BEACHES,AND MUD AND DIRT.NOT SURE ABOUT THE RIMS,THEIR JAPANESE

this is how mine was set up when I bought it looked great but didn't like it at the time so changed it back to standard and sold the wheels  (had 1200 ks on it and came with original wheels )ttr motard.jpgIMGP1901.JPG, now I wish I had kept the wheels for occasional  road rides .here's a before and now shot

looks great.i want to get some nobby's for when it rains.the clay road is very slippery.then on a long ride put the road wheels on.there is no road going to my in laws house,so it's down the beach at low tide or through the coconut farm

Great photos claytronic. Must be great to slide the ttr on the sand with a rear road tyre. Do you find the front washes out with that front tyre. Im on the beach now near Noosa Queensland and have semi road bush tyers on but wish i had nobbys on both.

it is fun sliding the rear.it's a big bald 160/60/17.the front is a 120,it digs in to the sand.the wet clay road was a challenge. 1st gear all the way.i want some nobby's but for now i'll get a dual sport for that bald rear
