How many official TTR imports in the UK?

I aske Yamaha UK and they replied:

"Whilst we cannot be exact, our records indicate that we imported approximately 889 models."

Bearing in mind that many those will have been scrapped, I can only think that the UK population of TTRs is so healthy because of the many grey imports. Must have been a lot of them - probably more than were brought in by Yamaha UK confuse

Brian, looking at the TTR Forum users' statistics it tells me there are 465 members in the UK.

If they all bought a UK Yamaha import TTR, does that mean 52.3% of Yamaha TTR import owners are looking here? confuse

According to howmanyleft.co.uk there were 335 ttr 250r and 44 ttr 250 taxed for the road last year (i assume 250 r will be blue bikes)

Of course alot wont be taxed as they will be used offroad (mines never on the road so isnt taxed) and there will be alot sat in sheds untouched

I just had a look at https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/family/yamaha_tt_250_r to see how many TTRs are left in one piece in the UK.

It shows a total of 456 TT250Rs inc. all those taxed and SORNed but add into that another 76 "TTR250"s and you get 532.

That compares to 350 WR250 Rs and Xs and 1,271 WR250Fs.
