Hi all, im after a silencer for my 1994 ttr 250 as I just bought a bike with a rotten one.

I'd prefer an aftermarket one thats not too loud but would consider anything.

Thanks

Hi, thanks for the reply and the welcome.
Sorry I may not have made it too clear, I have done all the searches etc and found all the options for new pipes but I cannot warrant spending loads on a new one so I put this wanted ad up hoping someone may have used one lurking in ther shed or or be breaking a bike for spares and have an exhaust for sale.
Thanks

Look on eBay there's one on there now or ring Brian who runs this forum and tttr parts supplies, he had some made a while ago and they fit all models if I remember correctly

Sorry - no second-hand after-market exhausts in stock at Totally TTRs cry

I have to say that, for trail riding, most of the after-market silencers available in the UK are too loud in my opinion which is why Andy and I developed this one with Motad.

With regards to the exhaust on evilbay, does anyone know what make it is. I pm'd the guy selling it and he doesn't know, which isn't much help

If its a genuine Yamaha one then probably worth a lot as I think there quite rare and expensive to buy from a dealer

Yes, standard yam ones seem to go for £80 minimum.
I also have messaged the guy selling the unbranded used one on eBay and all he said was its a standard exhaust for a ttr 250 but it's obviously not a yam one.
Mine is totally knackered so I'll have to have a bid.

How much do you want for the "as new" one Chris?
Would you post or are you anywhere near Dorset?

Chris I just realized I have already seen your ad in the for sale section, TBH I dont want to spend that much on a standard pipe. I understand that's the going rate for them but I'd hope to get an aftermarket one for that much.
Thanks anyway.
