I think it should be Part Number: 34K-22311-00

Brian.....Yep.....spot on....34X-22311-00-00 Damping pad extra but now 'obsolete' part.....easy to find something similar I bet!

 34X-22311-00-00 is different to the 34K-22311-00-00 confuse

The 34X or 34K represents what model the part was first fitted to.

The 34K is for the following bikes and is still available from Partzilla-

This Yamaha 34K-22311-00-00 CASE, CHAIN is used on these models and components:
 

See part number 45 below-

 Not sure if it fits a TTR250 but it looks like the picture of Brian's?
 
The 34X fits the following bikes and is also available from Partzilla.com-
 This Yamaha 34X-22311-00-00 CASE,CHAIN is used on these models and components:

 I'd say the 34K is correct personally as the 34X seems to be the same as the blue (non US) TTR's? confuse

Oh, I just checked and the part number 34X-22311-00-00 does fit the Open Enduro models (that had that specific chain guard fitted, my 1994 Open Enduro model did) and also the blue (non US) TTR's.

Number 19 is the part that I am talking about below-

The chain guard and some other bits have just arrived in Athens so with luck will be with me on Monday....will be able to see then if all is well with 34X-22311-00-00 ! Sorry I missed your post about the 34K Brian.....
