I'm reluctantly putting my TTR up for sale as I really have no need for it (recent house move) and the time to use it (full time student. 

The bike was originally owned by an older gentleman who had used it very briefly and came off hurting himself quite badly although the bike suffered no real damage apart from a few scuffs, the bike then sat in his garage for some time unused for about 5 years.  

I purchased it in July 2012 as a commuter/green laner, it had a slight running problem but was Taxed & MOT'd until May '13 with only 998 miles on the clock!  The running problem was fixed with new jets, diaphragm and a very thorough clean of the carb, service and the front disc was replaced.  Other than that it ran like a dream and I put about 200 miles on the clock in local trips on the roads.

In January 2013 the bike was stolen, it has now been recovered in good working other than the following issues so it needs a little TLC and requires the following:

New rear indicator lens.

Possible new ignition barrel (existing works but has been bodged).

New rear tyre (current a non road legal one)

New headlight shroud (It is possibly fixable but has a snapped plastic fixing)

New front brake lever

New battery (It is missing but still kick starts)

New rear mudguard number plate holder

An MOT & Tax

I will take a sensible offer however I will start preparing it for MOT over the coming weeks which will have an obvious impact on the price.
