TTR Towing frame...

Where I live at the moment I have no room for a trailer

& the car is not big enough for a bike rack across the back..

so I came up with ths thing... the bike is held in with

4 tie downs & 2 wheel straps... The pull is on the wheel

as it fits down in the frame...

Good idea to save on registration on a trailer.  Im getting the same tailpipe as yours.  Mine dosent have the badge on it for some reason. I should have it in a week or so.  Do they have a nice sound and much performance improvement. Thnx.

They are not made by Yamaha... But some are re-branded for Yamaha..
I can't remeber who makes them... Scorpion rings a bell..
Yours may not be a rebranded one... Hense no GYTR sticker..or it fell off

Hi I own a sedan and was looking into this method to move my ttr250.
few questions

Do you disconnect the chain when you use this?
How much does it sag the suspension of your car?
Also any noticeable effect on your tire tread?

thanks

yes.. I do remove the chain...
lighter on the draw bar than a trailer.. half the bikes weight is carryed on it's own rear wheel..
the tyre is just turning with no load on it... if you were to ride the bike the same distance with drive force / braking force
and the heat build up.... that would ware the tyre more..

..

Thanks for the welcome
I've currently been moving my 1986 xr80r by taking the wheels off and throwing it in the back seat.

depending on the laws in my state this will most likely be the way I'll have to move it around.

Also I'm taking my ttr out for the first time tomorrow so wish me luck

Would of been a great trip but a mess up on my part occurred.

got a battery that was only half charged

ended up draining it

turns out the hose from the tank to the carb was clogged

wasted the better part of a day slow charging the battery and missed my free time to ride

But there is always next week!
