Devon TRF Group (DTRFG) event at Cotton Farm

My brother Trev & I went to the Devon TRF event at Cotton Farm, Cruwys Morchard, Nr Tiverton, this morning. Great track and a good turn out. The woods section was excellent:

but some riders struggled on the straightforward field sections eh Trev?

I notice in alot of your photos everyone is really rugged up in clothing. 

Do you go as far as wearing long johns. Some of your rides must be freezing. 

Here is summer in australia im dripping wet inside my helmet. 

Especially stuck on the side of a mountain. i do prefer to ride on cooler days. 

In 2--3 months its our fire season so temps will be maxim for our sunburnt country.

We had a sudden temperature drop end of last week. 12 degrees C this morning and I even used my heated grips on the way to the event! Maximum temp reached was about 16C.

Heavy rain showers today so waterproof clothing needed biggrin

I am quite happy with it being cooler as it means I can sleep better and it's not uncomfortable. 

Autumn is nearly upon us and the leaves are dropping already.
