Idle speed screw.

I could increase the idle speed easy enough. But slowing the idle

was abit harder.  Found that the spring was catching on the

carby body. Took screw out then filed the top of the spring so it

Had a slopping edge. Added a tiny bit of grease.   Now its easily idled up or down.

Use to have idle down with a pair of pliers.

Wow - I have spent ages trying to track down the cause of that Mark on a couple of TTRs and it must have been just luck that the spring eventually cleared the carb body to get the right idle speed!

I will be looking carefully at some carbs tomorrow!

Very many thanks for a great tip biggrinbiggrinbiggrin
