Can't say that I have tried one but it will be the next battery that I get, that's if the Motobatt one I bought ever plays up. So far I am impressed for the price I payed. It has not gone flat once on me no matter how hard I try aww Last words before having to rollstart..wink

This was the one I bought HERE.

Long section on this subject at WebBike World

http://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcycle-battery/li-ion-motorcycle-battery/shorai-vs-ballistic-li-ion-motorcycle-battery.htm

I have an odyssey battery on a Moto Guzzi LeMans 1 - 13 year old battery, rarely used, rarely charged and is still amazing. On the other hand I had a Motobatt on a KTM that lasted 8 months. I still have two other Motobatts that have lasted over a year and fingers crossed.

Seems batteries are a tricky subject but if the new technology was to proven, I'd give it a go.

my original batt wont give in .but guys i ride with are using them and they are working well .

its suprising how light they are .they accept charge quicker and supply current rapidly .one of the spin offs of the search for a better battery .realy no down sides other than some do still fail due to faults when made .

just look at power tools they last ages
