Hi im looking at getting a polisport replacement for my light for a weight saving, does anyone know the weight of the standard blue light and plastic? the polisport one is 625g so i would like to know how much weight saving i would be getting for 100 dollars.

If it's working then it will be light.

If it doesn't work then it won't be lit. confuse

Will a kilo or two make a vast difference? Just eat a smaller breakfast or miss a meal and lose more weight. biggrin

The simple answer for you would be to remove your existing light unit and weigh it before you bought the 625g Polisport. blankstare

Be sure to let us all know the outcome. wink

594kg so the Polisport is heavier on the face of it.

However, the complete TTR headlight I weighed (including rubber protector and connector lead) did not include the mounting brackets whereas the Polisport weight almost certainly includes the weight of both the plastic extenders and rubber straps - but not a connecting lead.
