Well we had 50mm of rain here the day/night before so decided it was time for a ride, It's my favourite weather and riding conditions biggrin

The Trail In, there is an old 4WD trail in there somewhere

Another View

A small lake strewn with lilly pads and loud with frogs

A view from the ridge above the lake

An old bridge and the creek crossing that is fed by the lake

The water fall from the small creek

Looking down into the gully below the waterfall

For anyone that doesn't know what a drop bear is...

Drop bears are commonly said to be unusually large, vicious bears that inhabit treetops and attack their prey by dropping onto their heads from above. It is often suggested that doing ridiculous things like having forks in the hair or Vegemite or toothpaste spread behind the ears will deter the creatures

Although they look cute I've heard they can move quite quickly, especially on Yamahas in the bush. biggrin

Scary looking varmints and what a lot of damage they do!

The oddest animal I have ever found on a lane was this one:

I rember the report of that ride you and Trout Tickler did last May.

I remember, too, my remark at the time:-

I can't get the chuffing wrapper off a penguin, no matter how much I try.
