Spare TT-R 250 Parts in California
Permalink

I have the following parts that may interest someone in northern California (or, maybe, elsewhere in North America) from a 2000 TT-R250:

stock rear fender--almost new condition--HAS BEEN SOLD!

stock headlight assembly and light switch--again, almost new condition--HAS BEEN SOLD!

airbox with snorkel removed

Big Gun exhuast system (header pipe and muffler)--only about 2500 miles of use or less.  It includes a Big Gun "Quiet Vortex" insert that helps to quiet the system down a bit.--HAS BEEN SOLD!

I would be interested in the exhaust pipe and the head light if your selling them separately. Thanks Chris

I just bought a 99 and the headlight switch is gone. Would you sell that separately and ship it to Illinois? Also, how much would you want for the exhaust?

Thanks, Butch

I am just now checking up on the forum, and I am surprised (and pleased) to see that some folks are interested in these items.  Here are the prices that I had in mind (shipping would be additional):

Rear Fender:  $20

Head light:  $40

switch:  $10

exhaust system:  $70

Does these numbers seem reasonable?  I have not tested the head light or switch, but they were apparently replaced soon after the bike was purchased in 2001.  (Probably with a few hundred miles or less on it).

I'll take the switch as long as you will ship it to Illinois 62295 and shipping won't kill me. Also, I would be interested in the exhaust, if you could ship them both for less than $20.

PM sent also

Thanks, Butch

Hello.

I haven't checked the forum for a while.  The carb was on my 2000 TT-R250, but the bike had symptoms of running too lean.  I suspect, now, that the carb needs to be cleaned, and I think that I would rather not sell it, at this point.

I apologize for wasting your time.

Larry

Sorry, Ted.  That I don't have.  I suppose that you have checked eBay.  I have seen nearly complete 250's parted out there.

Well, thanks for letting me know.

I HAVE been watching eBay, etc. I could (may) get a new one, but have a hard time thinking about paying $65+ for a small piece of plastic.
