70 miles today green laning  and took in three counties Cumbria , Lancashire and North Yorks. TTR behaved wonderfull and had a couple of WR's, Huski , DRZ and a KLX for company. Parked up at Devils bridge Kirby Lonsdale for a butty and brew with the usual bike polishers who commented on the smell of burning mud on our arrival not suprised really as it was very very muddy on the non rock parts.TTR now washed, Scottoiled 365 and put to bed until next time.

Nice one, Colin.

I see you ride with like minded folk.

Good company, good views, good lanes, good weather, good food, good beer and good bikes - what more (for goodness sake!) does a man want? winkbiggrinsmile

How does the TTR compare with the WRs and others in the rocks and muddy non rock parts? confuse

Martyn

TTR compared to the WR's the main thing here is that both of these guys are very very experianced riders compared to myself and the leader for today is an ex trials rider so his WR rides very elegantly if follow my drift. I am certainly not going to rush out and buy a WR as I don't see the point, we all coped in are own way with the various lanes etc. The only way I could see me changing would be for a lighter weight machine which the WRR is not, but thats for another day in the future maybe.
