For Sale - 2006 TTR250

Having filled up my garage, I now need to clear something out, so it's time to sell my 2006 (55 reg) TTR250.

It rides superbly, both on and off-road, nice and quiet with standard pipe. Starts on the button every time, and has a full (day & night) MOT and tax. Acerbis barkbusters to protect your hands, and an aluminium sump guard. Almost new Pirelli MT43 on the back, and a good Michelin AC10 on the front which is a very good combination of rubber for around these parts!

Just 3 months ago, I fitted a new battery, front & rear brake pads & wavy disks, a new MT43 rear, new rear wheel bearings & spacers, and a new headlight unit. It has only had occasional use since. Tax & MOT until April 2012.

I have the two original ignition keys - unusually for trail bikes, this one has an ignition switch & steering lock so is a bit more secure than many bikes. It also has rear footgpegs so you can carry a pillion.

The bodywork is showing the scars of previous usage as you would expect for any  genuine trail bikes of this age, but a new set of stick-on graphics would make the world of difference for a relatively small outlay. There is also a small tear at the back of the seat, which is not really signifcant, but I have a brand new cover that I have not yet fitted so we may be able to come to some arrangement for this.

I can provide a manual on CD if you like.

This will be going on eBay if I can't sell it on the forum, but I hope somebody here will take it as they will be very pleased with it.

I'll be listing it on eBay for £1600, but will take £1500 from a fellow TRF member if it sells from here.

If you're interested, give me a call on 07710 461205. Bike is in East Devon.

Many thanks.
